393 Ford Mustang

This 351 Cleveland engine was brought in by a client for a rebuild and upgrade a few months ago.

We put in a stroker crank and a set of rods made by Scat with a 30 thou over bore and JE forged pistons to give us a total of 396 cubic inches. It’s also equipt with a 500+thou roller camshaft by Lunati with roller followers by Howard. For the top end we used Dart pro one heads with Milodon mega flow valves port and polished by the professor. This engine also had roller rockers, ARP head studs, Crow push rods plus a ton of extras to make 388 rear wheel horse power.

The horse power is impressive but when you drive this sexy Mustang it’s the torque that’s a turn on.
