This Honda D16Y single overhead cam has a fully built engine with a nitrided crank, H-beam rods JE pistons, Cometic head gasket, Crower 1mm over sized valves and is extensively port and polished by the professor. Crower 500 thou lift cam, Edelbrock turbo kit inc Garrrett roller bearing turbo, Edelbrock intake manifold, Link G3 setup with Accel multi coil packs, Link ignitors and Sard 850cc injectors. Other upgrades are too numerous to mention

El Camino at the Track
El Camino Drag Ute last time it was out at the track. Currently with the engine out, but will be back next season!
This is our El Camino drag ute last time it was out at the track. It currently has the engine out for a few modifications. It runs a 355 cubic inch chev with Dart Pro One heads, a 660 thou lift roller cam, Arias pop top pistons, Carrillo H-beam rods, a Scat steel crank, Lunati pop up roller followers and Milodon mega flow valves. It has been port matched by the professor. The transmission is a Hughes power glide with a Hughes 5500 rpm stall converter, this gearbox has a transbrake. The diff is a shortened 9 inch with Mark Williams axels and internals, the ignition system is MSD.
Recently we have stripped out the drag link steering and replaced it for a lighter more responsive rack and pinion steering system.
